Austin two-piece Not in the Face bring their smelted assault blues to Antone’s on Wednesday. Singer-guitarist, Jonathon Terrell and drummer, Wes Cargal, make scorched earth cow punk on the crossroads where The Replacements and Gun Club might meet The Knitters. They’re brash, heavy and ready to rumble in support of their recently released debut, Bikini.

Must-see opener The Faceless Werewolves are one of the most underrated bands on any scene, and bring their own moxie-rich garage psych mayhem. The trio of Denton natives, Baldomero Valdez (guitar, vocals), Kelsey Wickliffe (guitar, vocals) and Erica Barton on drums make bone rattlin’ rock and roll somewhere in the sweet spot between Sonic Youth and The Slits.

This triple threat bill also includes The Vitamins, Austin's blues wrecking crew with their epic guitar caterwaul scrawl.
