You've got your Austin dive bars, and you've got Dive Bar, a new local lounge that specializes in fine cocktails, classy patrons, and - starting on October 24th - music trivia. Hosted by this very website, the rounds will center on subjects like '80s music, Texas music, and metal music. It's music all the way down, but there's a question that even that one person who only listens to the radio will know and he or she will feel like a hero and maybe buy the next round. Or, if your team is damn good, you won't have to worry about that: the trivia winners get a fifty dollar bar tab. Sign up, and match wits with fellow music nerds. You're going to need the practice for this year's Austin-based Geek Bowl, anyhow.
