More Austin Film Festival News: Mike Judge Presents New Beavis & Butt-Head

And the announcements keep rolling in: not only will the 2011 Austin Film Festival feature special guests like James Franco, Mira Sorvino and Pixar head honcho John Lasseter, on Sunday Oct. 23, filmmaker and television satirist Mike Judge will host the return of his much-adored and long-dormant series, Beavis and Butt-Head.

This special event (did you ever think you'd have the chance to watch Beavis and Butt-Head at the Paramount?) will be attended by Judge and followed by a premiere party at Frank. Note that the screening is free and open to the public (with priority being given to AFF badge and pass holders), and the party is for Producers Badge holders only (although you'll be entered to win tickets to the party if you buy an AFF badge or film pass by Monday, Oct. 17).

Sunday the 23rd is shaping up to be a big day of a festival already packed with panels, premieres, and parties, so even if you can only attend for the weekend, you're in for more than a few treats. Check out the Austin Film Festival site for more information.
