RAW:natural born artists defines itself as “an independent arts organization for artists, by artists.” Across seventeen cities nationwide, the group seeks to showcase all matters of artistic talent, including music, film, fashion, and visual art each month from February to October. This month’s Austin based event, JUNCTION, takes place Thursday night at The Belmont, featuring music by Sevonica and Aperture, MixedMarshallArts photography, performance art by Lacey Roop, Lunetta Jewelery, fashion by Lizabeth & Leann, art by Lisa Bussett, Hello Kelly, and much more.

Local band Sevonica is looking to make waves as they work on completing their first full length album. Their music blends large guitar riffs with nuanced vocals punctuated by thoughtful acoustic moments. Check out one of their performances from June at Antone's for a preview. Last Act Theater Company seeks to provide truth and inspiration to audiences through nontraditional venues and recycled sets. Currently working on Titus Andronicus, the group will have a special sneak peek of the production which is set to open at the end of October. No matter what your favorite creative vehicle may be - photography, clothing, paintings, jewelry, drawings or more - local artisans will be on hand to inspire you.

The night is hosted by Meghan Jones, the location director, and features a set program with a DJ that is complemented by a cocktail cash bar.
