Food + Drink: The Happiest of Hours Downtown

There's nothing better after a long day at the office than hitting up a favorite restaurant for a happy hour deal. Luckily Austin has two more great after work options now that Haddington's and The Backspace have commenced with some new (and pretty epic) happy hours.

Enjoy some roasted eggplant and a glass of wine at the backspace, where from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. seven days a week all beer, wines by the glass and antipasti are half off.

Feel like some elevated tavern-style food? Then head to Haddington's for some truffled fried cheese and a hoppy draught beer Monday through Friday from 5-7:30 p.m., where classic cocktails are $6, draught beers are half off, and you can get $3 off burgers and all small plates.
