Oklahoma Fugitive Loose in Austin County

KTRK is reporting that Oklahoma native Charles Alan Dyer of Duncan, Oklahoma is loose somewhere in Sealy, having fled prosecution back home. "Dyers is charged with the rape of a child. A mistrial was declared in his first trial on the charge, and his second trial was set to start Monday," reports Christine Dobbyn. He never showed up, and is presumed to be on the run. The former Marine is considered armed and dangerous (which explains the SWAT team out in full force around the Sealy Community Center over the weekend). It's not clear how investigators tracked him to Austin County, but residents are being encouraged to be aware and careful until more news breaks.
