Colbert Nation turns a satirical eye toward Rick Perry

The rest of us may be waiting with semi-bated breath to find out whether Governor Rick Perry is being called by his mother or by God, but Steven Colbert is wasting no time. In last night's show, Colbert announced that he's sporting a "Texas longhorn" for our gun-totin', coyote-killin' governor, then proceeded to deftly slice and dice Perry's upcoming religious revival six ways from Sunday. It was almost enough to make us hope that the Guv does jump into the race... almost.
