Tonight, the Mexican American Cultural Center will hold an opening reception from 7pm-9pm for the group exhibit, Heir today, gone tomorrow. Featuring the work of artists from Texas, Tennessee, and Mexico, this group exhibition was curated by the Austin-based art collective Los Outsiders. "Exploring the complexities of inheritance, legacy and human interaction...", the exhibition is a journalistic study of how culturally-determined identity tangles with us all.
