2012 South by Southwest Panel Picker Opens June 20th

If you’ve been in the Convention Center for South by Southwest even once in the past few years, you probably saw and maybe even talked to, a lot of panels (and dudes behind booths). It can be an exhilarating and incredibly useful set of inspiring individuals and just as easily turn to sleep-inducing sludge (you can always blame the beer). Perhaps this is why South by Southwest, being the innovators they are, give the audience the opportunity to tell them what panels to put on.

This year's round of submissions for the interactive, film and music conferences begins on Monday, June 20th and runs until Friday July 15th with voting to go live a month later and the first round of (your) programming posted by October. Start thinking of titles and descriptions for something you’d really want to see and email interpanels@sxsw.com with any queries. There were a few thousand submitted last year posted conveniently on their website to get your juices blending.
