Pachanga Reminder / Win Tickets
While the rest of Austin ruffles their feathers over the glorious announcement that a bunch of comfortable radio-ready careerists are playing in a big field of crap/mud this September, keep in mind that a far less oversold, predictable and genre-bending festival is taking place this Saturday. That festival is Pachanga, and though it will not feature tabloid darlings (not in this country, anyway) who like to playact Sgt. Pepper while picking up the award for "Best Song to Have Your Teeth Cleaned To," it will, however, include a ton of genres and musicians not frequently showcased to this extent, on this side of the border.
Maneja Beto, playing at 8:40 on the Patio Stage, have a new single out called that you can hear. The Echocentrics, who we've mentioned before, are playing the Pavilion Stage at 7:50. Take a look and listen here, and visit our Facebook page for a chance to win more tickets.
