Love Inks at White Swan [Show Preview]

Love Inks is throwing a party to celebrate this week’s release of their enchanting new album, E.S.P. The trio spins charming vocals and low-key guitar and bass lines with minimalist synth pop accents; they’ll heat you up sufficiently to put a thaw in the chillwave. This event is a welcome showcase for some of Austin’s outstanding female vocalists. Soft Healer infuses their sultry indie pop with a bit of psychedelic abandon. Boy Friend (Christa Palazzolo & Sarah Brown formerly of SLEEP ∞ OVER) creates ethereal pop to snuggle up with on rainy days like those we’re recovering from this week.

This show also kicks off Love Inks’ US and Canadian tour that will place them in some notable venues, such as Glasslands in Brooklyn. Head over to the East 12th and Chicon zone to get in on the launch at the newly re-opened Legendary White Swan. Cari Palazzolo of Belaire -  who is featured in Echotone, the must-see documentary film about Austin's live music culture and its development in our rapidly growing city - will open the evening, so early arrival is strongly advised.
