After headlining 2009's Fun Fun Fun Fest Danzig and his band summarily skipped Austin in lieu of San Antonio on their last, "Blackest of the Black" tour, but they're back.
Danzig doesn't have anything to support per se - their last album Deth Red Sabaoth came out in June of last year, though Glenn has been working on new material and is purportedly working on a covers record (Elvis and Black Sabbath are both on the list for that one, of course). The Hangover 2 soundtrack isn't the first place we'd expect Danzig to reveal new tunes, but life is full of surprises.
Performing at Stubb's with Danzig are DevilDriver and 2cents. The former is the newest project of Coal Chamber's Bradley James 'Dez' Fafara, and the latter's 2009 release Dress to Kill primed them for an opening spot for Korn last year.
