Don’t just sit at home patiently waiting for White Denim to drop their highly anticipated forthcoming album D, next month - get up and head on out to Antone’s tonight for a taste of their energetic live act, guaranteed to get you moving.

For most of us, local indie outfit White Denim needs no introduction. Well, perhaps only to the newest member, Austin Jenkins, who recently joined our beloved experimental trio (James Petralli, Joshua Block, and Steve Terebecki) for the new release. The addition of Jenkins provides a physical variation that allows for and reflects the bands growth in experimentation. If you’ve been paying attention, the band has provided a glimpse of their newest musical stylings between last month’s mixtape, which samples the band’s collective influences, and last summer’s free 12-song EP The Last Day Of Summer , a collection of overflow that didn’t make the cut for D.

White Denim have built a reputation with their hyper-active, garage-rock and psychedelic sounds, but their teasers have been exploring new territory in jazz fusion and country-tinged riffs that are sure to come alive tonight at Antone’s. Yellow Fever and Hundred Visions open.
