Food: Tasty Touring Goes Euro For Whole Foods Contest

Austin food blogger Jodi Bart at Tasty Touring is always up to something, be it berating Austin's overrated institutions, organizing a maple syrup crusade, or helping organize the wildly successful Austin Bakes For Japan event held last weekend. This week, she's asking the Austin foodie community for a favor: a Facebook vote in order to head to Europe as part of a Whole Foods Market blogger video contest.

Bart's entry in the WFM "Foodie Fantasy" contest cruised through judging into the Top 8 final round - but the winner is determined by popular vote. Her video is the only Texas entry in the contest, so we don't have mixed loyalties here - this is the entry to vote for!

In terms of content, you can't fault her for effort: Bart dons a German Oktoberfest outfit, wears a beret, raps about cheese (pictured), and plays drums using pans from the Whole Foods Cooking Center (the video was filmed at the 5th and Lamar flagship store.)
