SXSW Comedy Announces Lineup

The lineup for the official SXSW Comedy festival was announced today, getting us amped for some homegrown talent (like Matt Bearden, Chris Cubas and former "Austin Stories" star Howard Kremer) alongside big names like John Oliver, Eugene Mirman, Michael Ian Black and Tig Notaro (the only lady-comic on the lineup). Highlights include Tom Lennon of "The State" and "Reno 911" (as well as a hilariously dark Twitter account), "Kids in the Hall" veteran Dave Foley, "Community" star and would-be Spiderman Donald Glover and "Super High Me" stand up Doug Benson.

You can get into SXSW Comedy shows 3/12-3/15 with your Film, Interactive, Gold or Platinum badge, and 3/18-3/19 with your Music or Platinum badge. All comedy shows will be held at Esther's Follies and attendees can look forward to a unique lineup featuring Comedy Death Ray hosted by Scott Aukerman, a live recording of Marc Maron's WTF Podcast and a panel of tech-obsessed comics led by nerdist Chris Hardwick.
