FULL-SCALE NERD ALERT AT THE ND. Move over, super neat bands and quirky indie film marathons! This weekend there are indie literature festivals popping up all over the country and the ND is hosting Austin’s weekend-long Indie Lit Roadshow.

Friday is a very special Christmas episode of the Encyclopedia Show (the theme is the Zodiac so while “very special” is true, “Christmas” is... a half-truth) with MC Eats, After School Delight and more. On Saturday will be another amazing and exciting (for nerds) (like you) Teleportal Reading featuring Chris Nakashima-Brown, Andy Devine and <YellowFever. Sunday is the main event, the noon-to-nine Indie Lit Roadshow marathon with pop-up bookstores from Domy Books, Bat City Review, Effing Press, BookWoman, Monofonus and American Short Fiction as well as best-of readings from your favorites: Five Things, Teleportal, the Encyclopedia Show and American Short Fiction.

Bring money. Take care of holiday shopping needs not in a mall. Practice literacy. Earn nerd cred. Watch this.
