Happy Birthday, BookPeople! [Event Preview]

Jonesing for cake and balloons, but your own birthday is still months away? Contemplating crashing a five-year-old's party just so you can get your face painted? Well, don't do anything rash, because BookPeople has just the event for you.

Austin's favorite bookstore is officially over-the-hill, and they're hosting a party to celebrate. The party is scheduled to go for two hours on Saturday and will feature magician John Maverick, face painting by On The Spot Body Art , and, you guessed it, birthday cake. There will be presentations on exciting upcoming publications up on the 3rd floor, and limited edition commemorative t-shirts will be on sale with proceeds benefiting AISD.
