Food: Amy's Ice Cream Is Free Monday (But Only If You're An Amy)

To celebrate her 50th birthday, local ice cream mogul Amy Simmons is having an unusual promotion on Monday: there's free ice cream (a small, with a crush-in)...but only if your first or middle name is Amy.

While those of us with other names can't partake, if you've ever taken a picture next to the Amy's sign because you're an Amy, Monday is your lucky day. Apparently more wacky promotions are in store for later this year. The offer is valid at
every Amy's Ice Creams location, but photo ID is required. No word as to whether Aimees can also partake, but it can't hurt to try!
