Giveaway: The English Beat at Emo's Tonight

No matter how old you were when The English Beat were formed (hint: same year London Calling was released by The Clash), the infectious reggae pop ska sound they still produce today is sure to bring a smile to your face and a bounce to your knees. Originally known as simply The Beat in their home country of England, the U.S. reformed group is led by Dave Wakeling, previously a member of General Public.

Expect to hear most of The English Beat's famous tracks, including "Mirror in the Bathroom" off the first album I Just Can't Stop It and "All Out To Get You" off the second, along with newer jams that are just as crowd pleasing. The signature saxaphone will be along for the punky reggae party as well!

Fellow ska bands Bad Manners and Chris Murray open at Emo's tonight. Stream The English Beat here while entering the contest below.
