KUT's New Music Happy Hour with Leatherbag and The Eastern Sea

Starting tonight, KUT is partnering up with La Zona Rosa for a weekly happy hour showcase of local music, fittingly titled KUT's New Music Happy Hour. They could hardly have picked a stronger debut lineup - classic rockers Leatherbag and chamber-pop heartthrobs The Eastern Sea are two of our favorites here at Austinist.

Tickets are $9, and $1 of each ticket sold goes directly to KUT. David Brown and the entire Texas Music Matters crew will be in attendance, along with other KUT staffers. There will be games (washers, corn hole, and ping pong, to name a few) and there most certainly will be drink specials.

Quality local tunes, cheap booze, and feel-good philanthropy - sounds like three good reason to avoid rush hour traffic to us.
