Memorial Service for Aaron S. Williams this Saturday

This Saturday, the Austin Art + Music Partnership will host a service commemorating the life of Aaron S. Williams. Williams, a co-founder and director of the local non-profit, passed away last week. He spent a good chunk of the last two decades helping local artists and musicians acquire the necessities needed for a fruitful career in town.

Besides his involvement with the AAMP, Williams also started the HAAM and worked closely with the SIMS Foundation. By all accounts, he was a true philanthropist and he will be missed dearly.

Saturday’s memorial service takes place at AAMP’s Creative Space at 411 W. Monroe St. (78704) at 2 p.m.
