Super Secret Records (shhh) have a new exciting release - the debut 7" from local band Ichi Ni San Shi, entitled Everything. The group, which includes scene veterans Jonathan Horne (guitar) and Amanda Jones (casio), have found a delicious balance between the experimental and the unabashedly poppy. The single's three tracks include the fun, bouncy title track, the slowly surging and enthusiastic "Leveling," and the mellow, sad "Friend," which gives the effort some emotional counterweight. The band is playing at End of an Ear today at 5 pm, so stop by after work to check it out! They'll also be selling the "Everything" single, which has a limited run of just 300 copies.
