President Obama Coming to Austin [Politics]
According to the Statesman the President will visit Austin on August 9th to headline a Democratic National Committee fundraiser. The event is currently scheduled to be held at the Four Seasons, with tickets starting at $5,000 per person and going up to $30,400 per couple. The latter deal includes VIP seating and a photo with President Obama. Bill White, the Democratic candidate for governor, will not be attendance.
