Preview: A Celebration of the Unremarkable at The New Movement Theater [Comedy]
This weekend Chris Trew's one man variety show, A Celebration of the Unremarkable, opens at The New Movement Theater. Trew is half of the improv duo Chris and Tami, and co-owner of The New Movement Theater (with Tami Nelson). He's also a member of the LA-based production company Studio 8, who just finished putting together a pilot for Comedy Central (with The Room's Tommy Wiseau, no less). You may also have heard of him by his rapper moniker, Terp2It. He's the host of the Air Sex World Championship, and in that capacity has appeared on Oxygen Network's Bad Girls Club. We could go on and on, as that's just the tip of the iceberg for this comedian with his hands in a lot of pies in the Austin and national comedy scene.
A Celebration of the Unremarkable is Chris Trew's first-ever one man show. Trew will be discussing his appearance on Bad Girls Club, delivering live performances of his High School rap notebook, and showcasing portions of his McDonald's Corporate Comedy Act.
A Celebration of the Unremarkable takes place June 4, 5, 11 and 12 at 8:00 pm at The New Movement Theater at 1819 Rosewood Ave. (the corner of Rosewood and Chicon).
