Preview: From the Mind of Adi Residency Series #6
Adi Anand’s mind is an open book for all those chosen ramblers yearning and burning for good local music, food and art, and anyone else looking to fight the mid-week malaise. The sixth installment of the From the Mind of Adi residency series at the Mohawk is going off tonight, with the showmaster recuperated and rested up from Saturday’s Pachanga Latino Music Fest, highlight video to come soon on Transmission Entertainment.
This time, Adi will be bringing to the Mohawk stage the garage pop dance party blitzkrieg that is The Hi-Tones, who will also be celebrating their tour homecoming. Adding to the night’s excitement will be a performance by the Beautiful Supermachines, led by singer/songwriter/guitarist/producer extraordinaire David Williams, who will no doubt be pulling out some new tracks from their upcoming release. Rounding out the night’s music will be the warm, melodic and entirely irresistible tones of The Ashes. Come early to make sure you grab some delicious eats from Woodland and have time to peruse the local works from Deep in the Art of Texas.
