Leading up to Pachanga (May 21st and 22nd at Fiesta Gardens), we’ll be spending five minutes with many of the artists scheduled to perform at the festival. Today, we catch up with San Antonio’s Piñata Protest.

What does a perfect Pachanga entail?

The perfect Pachanga entails the audience having the time of their life, fall in love with new bands they've never heard before, and becoming inspired.

Does Austin deserve to host a Latino Music Festival?

Sure, Austin is already a huge music town and has lots of great taco stands.

What is right or wrong with the music industry today?

Not too sure exactly what it is that's wrong, but what’s right is the Pachanga Fest.

If you could invite one musician, living or dead, on stage with you, who would it be?

For kicks, we'd invite Will Ferrell's in his Blue Öyster Cult character to come play cowbell for us.
