James Murphy, aka LCD Soundsystem, keeps himself pretty busy. When he's not recording his own music or remixing others, he's running the highly successful DFA record label. It's been a awhile since we had a new full length from LCD Soundsystem to get excited about, so when Murphy announced that This Is Happening would be coming out on May 18, the news was indeed buzzworthy.

Today, Murphy announced a handful of U.S. shows to support the album's release, and Austin will get a chance to see the show in June, at Stubb's. Tickets go on sale this Friday (see link above) and average $35. Not a bad deal for such a legendary performer, but we're going to give away a pair or two just in case.
