What has made Adi’s visage so recognizable in the Austin underground music landscape? Is it his unpretentious smile and jersey-clad frame? Perhaps it’s because he’s involved in one capacity or another in nearly every major music event this town has to offer? Either way, he’s not in it for the inevitable fame or name recognition. He’s just bringing important, fun local music to your eyes and ears because he genuinely cares, and he wants you to participate.

So, make Adi proud, and come out to From the Mind of Adi Showcase #2 tonight at the Mohawk. Three stellar Austin bands will perform, there will be an art show and plenty of miraculous libations and tasty treats will be provided. Headlining once again will be the precise and dreamy shoegaze sounds of She Sir. Also playing will be The Authors, a stunning indie rock foursome who have just recorded their debut album. And, relatively new band on the scene White Dress will come with gusts of both heavier, bewitching tunes and sparse beauties. Daniel Perlaky’s poster art display will compliment the music well. And, be sure to get there early, as the first 100 people will be able to take advantage of the complimentary Lone Star (one each) courtesy of Birds Barbershop. Food will be provided by Home Slice.
