Domy Book's What By What-Ever Fest explains nothing by its title but that's everything you need to know to find their weeklong SXSW showcase open for exploration and interpretation. Bringing together a fantastic pool of participants for festival goers to dive into, Domy's got you covered with a dynamic range of music, visual and literary arts.

On Tuesday March 16th at 8PM, the store will kick off their Fest with a double bill of Ryan Beltrán and Ben Aqua's film The The The and Rusty Kelley's film Thurible. Beginning Wednesday and continuing through Friday, Domy's collaboration with KXLU Radio from Los Angeles will work in tandem with like-minded LA art space The Smell and their label olFactory Records as well as San Fransico's Aquarius Records and Berkley-based Zum to present an almost exclusively West Coast showcase featuring bands like VOICEsVOICEs, Infinite Body and Avi Buffalo. The music plays on throughout Saturday and Sunday with local projects KVRX and Tape Bombs presenting showcases heavy on the sounds of Texas with bands like Wave Hands Like Clouds along side LA'sThe Entrance Band and Brooklyn's Black Taxi.

Friday sees the beginning of the Zine portion of What by What-Ever, as Winners!Press and Test Everything, two Dallas-based printing collectives, attempt to make 20 original zines in 2 days(!) containing art, collage, and photos based on themes received by submissions. The zine workshop continues through Saturday, the day in which Domy will also host a book signing by Girls Guide to Rocking author and all-around badass Jessica Hopper (check her out at the Girls Rock Camp Showcase on Friday, as well) and the opening of artist Katy Horan's Lady Monsters, a show full of lace-layered creatures amidst brooding backgrounds. If you're already among the billionz of patrons/fans of Domy books, we'll see you there! Otherwise, there's never been a better time to become aquainted with all that Domy has to offer.
