KUT's SXSW Music Lineup & Events
It’s a blessing living in a city with a radio station which offers consistent, quality music programming. But, when it comes time for SXSW, that fact doesn’t make things any easier for you. Rather, you just have that many more amazing choices for live music. There are worse things in this world though, seriously.
Not only will music fans be able to tune into KUT 90.5 or on the Web at kut.org to hear plenty of special SXSW programming, but many of the nine different live shows KUT is involved in will be broadcast live on the station. For example, for the first time KUT will be presenting free live music showcases from the lobby of the Austin Hilton Wednesday through Saturday beginning at 9am.
Also, the following artists are scheduled to appear live on KUT during SXSW: Harlem, Anais Mitchell, She & Him, The Strange Boys, Local Natives, Sleigh Bells, Surfer Blood, G-Side, and more. So, Stay tuned.
