Austin’s adventurer, bringer of mirth and lover of all things football (the non-American kind), Adi, brings you something straight from his mind and totally cool. It’s the kickoff of his new From The Mind Of Adi residency series Wednesday at the Mohawk.
The show will include performances by Austin bands with a poster art display, drinks and food all provided by local purveyors of deliciousness. Headliner She, Sir will go on at 9 pm bringing strategic and dreamy shoegazy indie tunes as the Spoiled Royals whip out the gritty, distortion heavy boogie blues meets rockabilly and Persian Wars impress with guitar-driven, nostalgic indie rock. Also on display, will be Bryan Keplesky’s poster art. You might remember him as one of the minds behind Misprint and the follically fashionable Beard & Mustache Competition. Well, he also happens to be a design wiz. So, come out and take a gander. But, make sure to come early to enjoy the food from Frank and complimentary Lonestar while it lasts courtesy of Birds Barbershop. Oh, and as an added bonus, just because it’s Austin, Daily Juice is going to be offering some refreshing cocktails like the High Note.
From The Mind Of Adi Residency Series Calendar:
March 3rd: She Sir, Spoiled Royals, Persian Wars.
