Facebook to Open 200-Person Austin Office
You already spend way too much time on Facebook, now maybe you can make it pay for you.
In a brief announcement, Gov. Rick Perry said the state will put $1.4 million from the Texas Enterprise Fund toward the creation of a Facebook sales and operations office in Austin. The investment is expected to create 200 jobs locally.
In keeping with the social media groove, Perry also announced the move on his Facebook page.
