BREAKING: Plane Has Crashed Into NW Austin Building
A small plane crashed into a Northwest Austin building adjacent to the local FBI field office about 30 minutes ago. Little information is currently available, except that authorities are on scene.
Update #1: Austin-Travis County EMS Assistant Director James Shamard told the Statesman that a triage center has been set up near the accident, and that “We have no idea right now if there are any patients, or how many.”
Update #2: @jeremymsimon tweets: "Co-workers said they heard impact from #austin plane crash. Could see smoke and fire from street when I went outside our building."
Update #3: The fire department has been ordered to retreat to a “defensive position" due to danger. Two people are still believed to be unaccounted for. The ongoing story is being updated at News 8 Austin and the Statesman.
Update #4: @ttrentham tweets: "In retrospect, we felt the shock wave over here at Braker and Mopac. It was right around 9:50am."

Update #6: There's some wild speculation flying around Twitter that the crash was intentional. Statesman reports eyewitnesses stating that the plane approached the building at "full throttle." One nearby eyewitness described the plane's trajectory as '“very controlled.”
