The 2010 Austin Modern Home Tour, featuring sixteen modern homes (mostly) in central Austin, is this Saturday, January 30th from Noon - 6:00 pm. Several of the homes are for sale, ranging in price from $280,000 to $3,500,000.

The tour will be followed by a reception and panel featuring local architects at Truluck’s downtown. Small bites will be provided courtesy of Truluck’s.

The homes have been vetted by Ingrid Spencer, who spent five years as the managing editor of Architectural Record magazine in New York City. Since moving to Austin in 2004, she has remained a contributing editor for Architectural Record, and has written for publications including Tribeza, Texas Architect, businessweek.com, and Cowboys & Indians, and served as editor of the Blanton Museum of Art’s publication, Articulate.
