Radio IST List: Jade Walker, "Spectator Sport"

Jade Walker built the installation "Spectator Sport," which is at the Austin Museum of Art through the end of the month, and she's giving an Artist Talk about it there tonight. After the Museum's Assistant Curator introduces her and the installation at 7pm, she'll give a slide lecture. In the photo at right, Mrs. Walker wears a warm coat in Japan.

The museum is located at 823 Congress Avenue, and it's open from 10am to 8pm on Thursdays. So if you arrive an hour or two early, it's a good night to check out the whole museum. Admission is $5, and a dollar less for students, soldiers, and seniors.
