SXSW Volunteer Call!

It’s time to make a commitment and ensure that you’re doing the things you love during Spring Break. Click here for flight tickets to Cancun and here to plan your trip to South Padre. Just kidding. Your dream Spring Break experience awaits right here in town. SXSW invites you to volunteer your time and spend mid-March in the midst of one of the top festivals in the country. You can sign up to assist at the Music, Film, or Interactive portions of the fest, or a mix of all three. SX will keep you busy with relevant duties galore but also afford you enough time to enjoy the festival as an insider of sorts. Head over to the Volunteer page for full details.

Per SXSW: Volunteers must be able to work a minimum of 30 hours or 3 shifts during the event, depending on their crew type. Applications are available online and crew selections will take place at the Volunteer Call on Sunday, January 24, 2010 between 2:00 and 5:00 p.m. and Monday, January 25, 2010 between 6:00 and 9:00 p.m. at the Hilton Hotel in downtown Austin (500 E. 4th St.).
