The Strange Boys To Support Spoon, Deerhunter

The Strange Boys have added a few new dates to their upcoming U.S. jaunt. The local band will support Spoon and Deerhunter starting mid-March, which can only mean they won’t be doing the rounds in town during SXSW. However, Austinites can attend their tour kick-off show at Emo’s on February 19th for a measly $8 (Tickets). The band’s debut full-length clocked in at #10 on our Top 15 Albums of 2009 list and we’re licking our chops in anticipation of the follow-up Be Brave, due in February. A 7" single is set for release on the 25th of this month in the U.K. and the following day here in the U.S. Preview the new material on the Boys’ MySpace page in the interim.
