Get To Know Us: L Style G Style Issue Launch Party

Although the holiday season has passed, L Style G Style would like to remind you that it's nice to give all year round. Which is why the magazine is donating a portion of the proceeds from its January/February issue launch party to AIDS Services of Austin and the Capital Area Food Bank. They also invite you to bring in canned foods to benefit ASA's Helping Hands Food Bank.

A ten dollar entry fee gets you signature New Orleans cocktails by Tipsy Texan, catering by Tokyo Steak House & Sushi Bar, delicious dessert from Austin Cake Ball, Stella Artois, and Sweet Leaf Tea. The party will take place at Four Hands Home, which will also be offering 20% off all items purchased that evening. L Style G Style will also be giving away a signature furniture piece from Four Hands Home valued at over $1000, as well as other prizes. And, of course, it wouldn't be a party without a DJ spinning discs.

First published in November 2007, L Style G Style was created by Alisa Weldon and partner Lynn Yeldell to offer a different view of gay and lesbian individuals that shape and impact this city. The magazine has been one of ASA's biggest partners in HIV and AIDS care in central Texas.
