Brendan Benson Coming to the Independent
Though Brendan Benson is best known for his contributions to The Raconteurs, he's released four solo albums on which he performs most of the instruments. There's undoubtedly a deep well of talent here, just waiting for its chance in the spotlight.
His latest full length, My Old, Familiar Friend is a brilliant example of Benson's somewhat classic rock style, mixing 70s smooth with more decadent melodies to great effect.
He'll be performing at the Independent on February 24, tickets go on sale Saturday.
