Amy Cook Releases "Hotel Lights"
Head over to Amy Cook's web site, where she's currently offering the first single from her upcoming full-length for free.
"Hotel Lights" was produced by Alejandro Escovedo and features Patty Griffin. There's also a section performed by the Tosca String Quartet, written by Stephen Barber.
“Alejandro was amazing to work with. Stephen Barber wrote a beautiful string arrangement, and, of course Tosca is brilliant,” says Cook. “Patty sounds perfect on this song. She came up with a really interesting harmony. She was sweet to do it.”
Let the Light In, the follow up to 2007’s The Sky Observer’s Guide is scheduled for release March 2, 2010.
