That show was bipolar. The crowd was a mix of burly My Morning Jacket fans ready to rock next to sensitive wussboy fans of Conor Oberst. The sensitive Conor fans would passive-aggressively stare at the loud MMJ fans talking over the crappy Conor tweenie music.

I was shocked to find out really really hot blonde sorority girl types still love Conor. When he did Bright Eyes and solo album songs, they got all giddy. Who knew?!

It's been my experience that hot blonde sorority girls are fun to party with after 2 am, but during normal hours you realize they are big dorks with terrible taste in music.

the Molina & Johnson album is out. just bought it at Waterloo last week. it's pretty good, though very mellow and probably could have lost a couple of tracks that seem like filler.

  • Wanna give a big shout out to WILL JOHNSON who played on many songs.

I cannot wait for the Johnson/Molina album.

    Keep up the good work!
