Teen Stocks Up On Guns And Ammo From Cop Car, Gets Charged With Theft

Authorities have charged 19-year-old Austinite Michelle Lozano with theft after she allegedly looted what sounds like a small weapons depot in an AISD police car.

Items that Lozano is accused of taking from the squad car include an AR-15 assault rifle, bullet-proof vest, Taser, and ammo. Police tracked the culprit by matching her fingerprints with those found on the car door, after Lozano attempted to unload the goods via a fence, who turned out to be a police informant.

The incident occurred back in June.
