Each week, we'll look at some reasons to taunt, belittle, and bully the Longhorns' football opponent. This week: the Missouri Tigers.
- Twitter Battle: Sherrod vs. Spoon: Texas backup quarterback Sherrod Harris posts endearingly about seeing an "Obama Sucks" shirt and being lactose intolerant. Missouri linebacker Sean Weatherspoon sings and poses in a snuggie.
- Business in Front, Party in the Back: Tigers punter Jake Harry was rocking a mullet early in the season.
- Protect Your Data: The Missouri athletic department recently sold a bunch of old cell phones at a university surplus sale. Problem was, some of them were filled with phone numbers, emails, and texts from coaches and athletic department staffers. Mike Bellman, who bought the box of phones, offered them first for sale to fans as "collector's items", then planned to put them on eBay.

I don't like that they pronouce their state "Mizz-UR-uh."
"Teks-us" and "Teks-is" aren't correct pronunciations either, but thats how we say it.
Actually, the majority of Missourians (ie, the populations of St Louis and Kansas City) pronounce it Mizz-ur-EE. Mis-ur-uh is mostly limited to the southern and rural tier of the state.
