Government Recalls Cars and Cribs [News Bits]

The University of Texas seems to also see parking as a new income source. Now it seems that every spot on the campus requires a parking sticker at all times. It used to be that you didn't need a tag at many spaces on weeknights and weekends. No more. This makes it more of a hassle for non-students to visit the campus and may cause UT to lose money if it discourages us from paying to use campus services, which I have done for more than 10 years.
Also recently a UT officer pulled me over and said I was going 50 in a 15-mile zone. I know I never go 50 on surface streets, so I don't where that came from. Anyway, he seemed to back off and let me off with "a warning." While he checked to see if I was a fugitive his partner stood guard over me like I was some kind of a danger. I can't think of a better compliment for a wimp like me.
