Joe Gross over on Austin360 broke the news that Sonic Youth is the latest headlining act to bow out of ACL Fest, owing to an injury. The band has also canceled its scheduled KLRU ACL taping on October 5. [Austin360]

Looks like there will be plenty of unused ACL tickets for sale this year...
This is why you shouldn't buy tickets for an October concert like 9 months ahead of time.
C3 already made their money, don't expect them to book somebody good like Outside Lands booking Radiohead.
