For two weeks, early birds can get a weekend pass for $67.50 (this goes up to $75 in two weeks) or a PIP (Pretty Important Person) pass for $135. The checkout wait is killllllling me
Everyone I know is getting a 404 on the checkout after submitting the credit card info.. but we all seem to have gotten a confirmation email that the tickets were purchased.
Note to self: Do minimal testing to ensure the pages are all on the server and the process works. Bonus points for load testing the app servers before launching.
(Or just work with the man and go with Frontgate tickets)

The line-up lacks bands from outside of North America (Shonen Knife is an exception) and where are the ladies??? Where are the bands that are fronted by a female? There are what...maybe 3....

he's actually originally from NEW Mexico (usa) and has live in Berlin for years now.
FYI: it's not a 'world music' festival. I remember that World Music festival in San Marcos in the fall of last year. Didn't really work out that well.

I'm pretty sure that I spelled it correctly and that only the "N" is capitalized. I don't know where you got the impression that it is "NEW Mexico" instead of "New Mexico" like I typed.
my mistake on typing fast and capitalizing all of NEW, was just stating he was born in new mexico but has lived in berlin for years and based out of germany.

I don't see why it matters if there are bands from outside of North America and/or female fronted bands unless you're seriously looking for a reason to complain about nothing.
There also aren't any jam bands or tejano bands or bands with string orchestras or Coldplay or bands with little kids in them or nu-metal bands or or or or or... Every one of those bands would also be fun fun fun to someone, why aren't they included?!
People in this town love to piss and moan about everything.
