Pecan Street Project Gets $10.4 Million Stimulus Grant

I remember visiting a friend's apartment during my late teens in the 70s in El Paso. Explaining the textbooks strewn about the living room, my friend said, "Those are my brother's. He's going to medical school in Juarez." I suppressed my north-of-the-river condescension and didn't say like I wanted to, "You mean there's a medical school in Juarez?"
Later, however, my stepfather told me that graduates of that school often got residencies at fairly prestigious medical facilities in the US.
So Juarez and Mexico may not be a bad place to seek medical attention.
I never did so myself, but my allergist there would periodically go to Juarez to get drugs that had yet to be approved by the FDA.
Why is it embarrassing for Levi to pose nude in a gay magazine? It's perfect. I'm sure Sarah is supportive of his decision.
