Sixteen of the homes are reserved for those earning 40-60% of the median family income. Some lots have large, established trees. The solar panels are not yet installed, but scheduled to be in-place around the end of the month.

Unlike most supposed green housing, at least these are near a decent transit stop (zoom in and see the #17 comes fairly close).
Still, the leakiest high-rise downtown is usually more green than the greenest detached single-family housing in an area like this where most residents will drive.
Everytime a central neighborhood says "no" to more dense housing in their neighborhood, they're saying "yes" to sprawl. I do question why they're not doing more dense development.
I have some friends who live in the surrounding neighborhood. It's quite nice over there, and very convenient to downtown. Plus that's right near the awesome pedestrian bridge that goes over airport, so you could actually walk or ride your bike to the theaters.
