Austin Fashion Week - Wednesday's Events
Keepers (515 N. Congress) is hosting a fashion lunch hour wherein models with be showcasing stylish men's looks by Keepers clothing and Mint Owl Accessories. The store will also hold a trunk show and be serving snacks and beverages. The fashion lunch starts at 11am and runs until 1pm.
From 3 until 8pm, Studio 563 (202 Colorado) is holding a silent auction featuring jewelry and other items to benefit ACT Women and The Mona Foundation. Refreshments and door prizes will be offered. Bidding ends at 7:45pm.
From 5 to 9pm, Touch of Sass (500 N. Lamar) is turning its store into Candyland! Sweet-tooths will be treated to cotton candy, popcorn, a candy-bar, and pink champagne cocktails. The boutique will be featuring jewelry from Bon Bon designed by Micah Yancey. 10% of the evening's profits will be donated to charity.
OHBaby! (2805 Bee Caves, Suite #414A) will be celebrating the launch of Stephanie Jimenez Designs' latest jewelry line. Part of the proceeds of the night's sales with be donated to the Heart House of Austin. Stop by between 5 and 8pm for music, wine, cheese, and the chance to win a pair of earrings valued at $200.
Soigne' Boutique (4800 Burnet) is holding a fashion show highlighting summer looks accessorized by Tracy Tenpenny jewelry. Fashion connoisseurs can also enjoy sushi from Kenichi's portable sushi bar, and cocktails by Cover 3. All clothes, shoes, and purses will be discounted 20%. The party begins at 6pm, with the fashion show kicking off at 7pm.
For all those late night fashionistas, QUA is hosting a fashion show, put together by Jen Shoemaker and Lizbeth Badillo. Bella Salon is taking care of hair and makeup while WISH will provide wardrobe. Local DJs will provide the beat, as models (presumably) walk on top of sharks. The event starts at 9pm.
