Audio Inversions is an organization dedicated to presenting concerts that showcase new compositions by contemporary composers and they're holding their season finale this evening at the Long Center. The program is entitled “Meditations and Homage," and includes a piece by the winner of their composition competition, Baljinder Singh Sekhon, entitled "Lou" which was written for cello and percussion orchestra.

Says Holly Norman, the Executive Director of Audio Inversions: “We are pleased that the fourth season will wrap up with a concert at the Rollins Theatre. Performing at the Long Center provides us with an elite venue, and both our patrons and musicians will benefit from such an opportunity. We have been working tirelessly to create the best concert we’ve yet produced."

A multitude of different musical ensembles, including chamber ensemble, percussion orchestra and mixed chorus will interpret works by composers like James Norman, Arvo Pärt, and Lou Harrison. Those interested in new classical composition likely won't find a more affordable concert in such a fine setting elsewhere this season.
